MOUF Music review
Posted 18th March
MOUF music will be reviewing the lads at Jacksons Pit on 30th March. The review will be featured on the new MOUF website due to be launched in April.
The High Nines are a 5 piece Rock n Roll band from Manchester and beyond.... Forming in 2011 the band rehearsed practically non stop for 6 months straight before their debut gig in March 2012 at the The Castle in Oldham which they headlined.
Drawing influences from the likes of 'The Music' and 'Kasabian'- reflected by their "dance-like drum beats, melodic rhythm section and enigmatic front man" (MBC promotions 2012)...the band soon began to make a name for themselves..
After their youtube 'release' of '18 and over' the band quickly gained recognition from Manchester gig promoters. This resulted in the band being offered headlined slots at some of Manchester best music venues such as The Roadhouse, FAC251 and Dry Bar, (where tickets ended up selling out) as well as being asked to record an acoustic session for Youtube channel 'Our House' and live interviews on Beatwolf radio.
The band have recently been played on ALL FM and have been asked to do a live acoustic session for Beatwolf Radio....all within 4 months of their first gig... things seem to be moving very fast for this exciting new Manchester band ..
